There were many things to fear in Vietnam. After all, everything was out to kill us.

We had as much to fear from our artillery units, the spraying of Agent Orange, contaminated blood supplies, the lowering standards of the draft, underestimating the North Vietnamese, and dysfunctional weapons as we did from a relentless enemy.
