Dear Loren: I particularly liked your scholarship about the life and times of Fatty Arbuckle. I found it particularly interesting that of all the film stars he knew, only Buster Keaton stood up for his friend. I would have thought Chaplin would have done likewise. As far as Hollywood was concerned, they were then, and still are, a bunch of spineless individuals whose conscience is guided by profits. Nothing much has changed.
