Does our environment permanently change us?
Many want to know what we thought as we slithered through the jungles in search of the enemy.
But we were not thinking.
Instead, our instincts and senses became heightened to incredible levels.
We could feel the shifts in our environment.
I could smell the enemy and hear non-jungle sounds a half mile away.
It seems impossible now, but if we pointed a weapon, we never missed the target.
Was it the training? Or did we morph into feral predators? I wonder.
What do you think?
