Forcing yourself to think before you act.

I often wondered if our repeated acts of courage altered the war’s outcome.

We did not enter the battle to fight communism. Instead, we stepped into danger because our country ordered us.

Perhaps we created a ripple in time that made a difference? I am not sure.

I know we saved lives, both of our brothers and civilians. Maybe that was enough? I can only hope we made a difference, however small.
