Insights into Vietnam Uncensored

Combat demanded courage. Rain or jungle heat it made no difference. Our job was to move forward to fulfill the mission. Right or wrong didn’t matter. We had to form the best plan and step out to honor our oaths. Every day posed existential challenges, but stopping was not an option. We did not see ourselves as brave. We relied on skill, training, and brotherhood to keep us safe.

But the plans rarely went as I thought. It felt like a devil particle twisted everything sideways. We held our ground, aimed to leave no man behind, to survive the day. Most times, we did. Yet, over 58,000 of my brothers fell, and 150,000 more were hurt.

I shook my head when the VA psychiatrist asked if I had complaints. What complaints could I have? I made it home in one piece, living my dream on those battlefields.

The Vietnam Memorial Wall in D.C. reminded me daily. God bless every son and daughter who serves, and God bless America. But not a day passes without a thought of that terrible place.

The launch of Vietnam Uncensored is coming fast. Stand with me on November 11, Veteran’s Day, to make it a success. Visit the Vietnam Jerry site to learn more and receive the first chapter, along with Corporal Cummings’ ghost story at the Vietnam Jerry site: https://vietnamjerry.com

The book will be 50% off on launch day, with unique gifts for lucky subscribers. I’ve pledged the net proceeds to support veterans in need through the Kaufman Fund. So you’ll not only get a great read, but you’ll help our vets. Thank you for being part of this special event.
