Hi, Alex. I liked your essay about removing the clutter from your office. I love your strategies and like the way you point to yourself as the chief perpetrator. As a Vietnam Veteran I find it impossible to part with anything - even an expired credit card, rubber band, empty plastic yogurt containers, and all the great stuff I pick up on my many walks around the city. Hey, one day, the item may come into use! It is part and parcel of my combat experience where everything was short except the enemy, where even a used K-ration can could be used for something, like creating a trip mine. To get rid of most things my wife sold the house. It near killed me to see all my GREAT stuff go to neighbors, grandkids, and the dumpster. C'est la vie! They call it hoarding. I call it preparing for the Apocalypse. Hey, who knows? As you can see, not me.
