Hi, Alex. I liked your essay on embarrassing moments. I have always thought those who laugh at the mihaps of others simple minded and ignorant. We often underestimate the number of people in circulation ready to judge us. I attribute the condition to poor upbringing and bad manners. Pratt falls on stage are funny. In real life they cause injury and pain - nothing funny about that! In Vietnam, we often laughed at our ticks, mannerisms, and narrow escapes, but never of a finger caught in a snapping breach, calling in artillery close to our position, or an aircraft spreading Napalm that headed straight at at us. Yet, there were times to laugh. Just saying. Good article. I enjoyed the read. Thanks
