Hi, Andy. It is essential to note the films you mentioned highlighting the wisdom of Jim Carrey came from talented, experienced, and veteran screenwriters, consultants, and directors. Their job was to make the dialogue relevant, meaningful, and soul-searching. Slogans such as 'Make my day," from Dirty Harry, "I'll make him an offer he can't refuse," The Godfather, and "I love the smell of napalm in the morning,” and “Apocalypse Now” are just a few examples. It is not something thought of instantly but put on paper by master wordsmiths. I do not take from Carrey's comedic talent. His plastic expressions, timing, and mannerisms were entertaining. But a philosopher, he was not! Just one man’s opinion. I enjoyed the read. Thanks.
