Hi, Antonio. A machine can't be humanly aware because our thoughts and ideas germinate from a series of uniquely sentient attributes. Humans are born with instincts and senses. These characteristics contribute to our view of the world and our attitudes. Then there is the total of our upbringing, parental influences, millions of images we see, the feelings of our experiences that lead to our thoughts, and a thousand other things. For example, experiencing vertigo, grief, upset stomach, dilating pupils when seeing something we like, the sensations of intimacy, and thousands of other analogies. AI can calculate, perform outstanding feats of mechanical ingenuity, design, and create art, but all are programmed algorithms without feeling or emotion. AI will help humanity move forward, but it can never become truly conscious. I liked your article. Thanks for sharing.
