Hi, Darren. I liked your expose about yourself in your About Me summary. I find we led similar lives, but in parallel universes. I traveled 8,000 miles and landed up smack-dab in the middle of the Vietnam war, leading a Special Ops team in 1967 and 1968. I took more helicopter rides than I could keep count, met more people who disappeared soon after meeting them, and worked for little or no pay, took orders from people of higher rank who did not know their rear ends from their elbows. and survived every step that held injury and death. I managed to get out but returned home with the invisible injury of PTSD. Of all my wounds, this has been the one that cannot be outrun, out-trained, out-medicated, and I learned, out-lived. But I manage.

A mutual acquaintance, Debra Groves, put me on to you, and I'm glad she did. All the best. Regards.
