Hi Dock: I served in combat as part of a Special Ops squad out of Chu Lai. I was drafted a year out of college and entered airborne because of a fluke. I served from 67 to 68, and overstayed my visit because of my injuries. I was not an officer, although had I not been injured I would have been given a field commission, but who knows.
I brought home severe PTSD and ADHD that plagued my whole life, but a good woman stood by me and I got go lead a decent life. Something, I did everything in my power to destroy.
I will turn 8o in 2022. Funny thing, my family had moved to Canada while I was still in college, and when the orders to Nam were issued, well you can imagine.
I am not sorry I served my country and for all that went down, even knowing the outcome, I would do it again. I am sure you understand such sentiments.
I read your story, because I am publishing my memoir and need to find a following on social media, but I am a moron, who usually says no to anyone trying to teach him something. I think you know the type, but I can be charming. Okay, maybe that’s stretching my good traits.
I read your article me because I am trying to learn about the Internet what my limited intelligence can provide. I’m not doing too bad, since some of my stories have been published and accepted by strong publication. Of course, I must admit, my success amazes me. It’s way above my pay grade as 4 stripe moron, but I try.
It is always good to hear from men who served in the Kingdom. I consider everyone a hero. I do not possess any negative Khama, except for Jane Fonda. Otherwise, life is peachy.
I Nope I have answered your question to your satisfaction. Thanks for your service, Brother. And know it comes from my heart. Regards
