Hi Ella: I like your essay "The Unfortunate Reality of Teleportation." I am neither a science, mathematical, nor technological wizard, but I know a good piece of writing when I see it. As a writer, I am intrigued by unexplainable and imagined events based on the pseudoscience of what the human mind conjures. Still, I am not a lover of video games, dragons, and fantasy. But a story based on the extended possibilities of science always intrigued me. Then, of course, mention Einstein, and you have me.

I particularly liked the parallels you illuminated in the exchange of matter. I do not think getting rid of Jeff Goldbloom is a bad idea, and the newer version would have to be an improvement. But that's only one man's opinion, which is not worth much. Just ask my wife and kids, and come to think of it, most people who know me.

If I may, I invite you to read the first chapter of my Vietnam memoir for free at vietnamjerry.com and then scroll down to MEDIA and listen to the ghost story of Cpl. Cummings are all true events.

My story is about war, but not about Hollywood heroes and incredible combat warriors. Nope! Instead, it is a narrative of six young men sent on missions to extract the captured, but coming upon people, places, and events that did seem teleported to our destination from a different world. As your treatise exemplifies, nothing ever is what you think it is in the new version of old. Of this I will attest. Thanks. Regards, Jerry
