Hi, EP. Thanks for posting your article about the unjustified death of Ahmaud Arbery. It is hard to believe this is the same America to which I once held hand over heart to pledge allegiance. served in the military, and grew up in a place where our neighbors were good people regardless of color, race, religion, or ethnic background. What occurred on the day Arbery was brutally murdered is unfathomable. Many say, "Well, that's the South. Racism is transferred by DNA." But we know better. By killing Ahmaud the world was denied of his greatness. Who can say what he might have achieved? What kind of legacy he would have left us? The pity of it all, the crime was a senseless, mindless act of hatred. Life imprisonment? For such a crime, I am almost sorry the death penalty does not exist. Not only is the murder a blight on Georgia, it is likewise a degrading event that reflects on all Americans. Thanks for sharing. Regards
