Hi, Fagtima. I visited Istambul several times during the years I maintained an import export company. Many do not know Turkey is an excellent resource for leather garnents. I used to know several Turkish words, but my suppliers spoke perfect English, so, I was not encouraged to learn. Yet, I want to mention, I found the Turkish inhabitants of Istanbul to be the most honest, courteous, and welcoming individuals it was my good fortune to meet. And I am not just speaking about the merchants. I am discussing the average citizen in the street. It was in Istanbul I learned about the art of candy making. You know, even as I write to you, my mouth waters thinking about the blends of candy that possessed an antiquity in manufacturing methods. Your article reminded me of these wonderful people and experiences. Thank you for sharing. Regards.
