HI, Ilam. I found your article Write Like... interesting. In some measure I am in agreement. I have always written for myself. That is, tell stories that have a voice that I like. Typically, I fall in love with the characters in my stories and have a difficult time letting them go - publishing them. I often go back to a story that becomes dear to my heart, where I remained in love with the character. I consider it a privilege to write and publish. If someone reads my stories and find enjoyment, or identify with the character It give me satisfaction. I tell all writers, always write for yourself first. Read, and re-read the narrative. If you love what you've written, press the publish button. If the writer does not love and beleive in his words, then how is it possible for a stranger to identity with the story. Just one man's opinion. Good writing, Ilam. Thanks.
