Hi Jan: You are an amazing woman, and I love hearing the stories of the people and events that govern your life. There is no accounting for rudeness, prejudice, racism and ignorance, but it is always around us, ready to step in to show us there are those who exist that are human but not humane. What others do, is their affair. What we do is all that counts. Your positive spirit rising above your infirmity is a lesson in endurance and inspiration. As for me, I have always maintained no act of kindness, however small is ever wasted.
