Hi, Juut lius. I am sorry you suffered at the hands of criminals during your childhood. It is unfortunate, and yet, you overcame the trauma and succeeded academically. I can only imagine you are amazing and brilliant. I would never say smarter than Einstein, but in his league

I can speak for trauma because of the PTSD that has plagued me every day since my return to civilian life. It is not an illness that can te outrun, out-treated, out medicated, or outlived. It lingers and its reason de etre is to destroy all things held dear. It generally succeeds. One of my buddies committed suitcide, another did time for assaulting a polic officer, and two are inveterate alcoholics. How you poossessed the mind to complete Naval School is beyond me. My hat's off to you.

Everything I ever did in my former life, before the Army, including the medals awarded to me meant nothing. All past experiences evaporated with part of my sanity on the killing fileds of battle. Yet, life goes on.

I managed to kick addiction, keep my PTSD under control, and stay married to my beloved. But I'm forever sorry for what I put her through.

Thanks for leading me to this story of your upbringing. It's sad and yet, encouraging. I can only hope your sister did as well. Regards
