HI, Loren. I like your piece about the hang-out spots of Bukowski. His life only goes to prove everyone has something of value to offer, regardless of their social status, faults, and opinions. Bukowski viewed the world through a kaleidoscopic lens of the reality he lived. His poetry describes life in perhaps its truest and rawest form. As far as his quotes go, I can completely agree with a reason to consume copious amounts of liquor for all the reasons possible to imagine. I gave up the bottle long ago, but it once remained my only significant friend. Thanks for sharing. Regards.
