Hi Marine: I like your essay on Einstein. I consider him a genius for more than his theorems involving astrophysics, but also for his holistic view of life, and the consequences of dealing with powers to destroy the world. For all his intellect, I always felt Einstein personified what it meant to be human. Einstein believed that we take responsibility for our species. After all, we are the only species on the planet who have the power to both make it paradise or to destroy it in an instant what it took trillions of years to create. He saw deep into cosmic origins and yet, he also saw the need to take action against the base instincts of the our species. Without being condescending, I would like to quote one of my favorite Einstein quotes: "Concern for man and his fate must always form the chief interest of all technical endeavors. Never forget this in the midst of diagrams, equations, and achievement. Hail to the man who went through life always helping others, knowing no fear, and to whom aggressiveness and resentment are alien." Indeed! Thanks again
