Hi, Mike. I enjoyed reading your story Hide n' Seek. It told me a lot about you and your family. If all things good come to you, grandchildren will be the greatest gift bestowed by the universe. My friend, Marty, likes to say they are the reward one gets for not having strangled their children. By the time the grandchild rests in your cradled arms, you have forgotten what it’s like to hold a baby and become amazed at every sound, achievement, and unconditional love. You will find everything you sacrificed; you would gladly give to this fantastic creature, so delicate, filled with promise, and miraculous. No, you never harmed your grandmother. Instead, you gave her life. If anything, you prolonged her existence by sharing the miracle that was you. Seeing her little man walking, talking, hiding, laughing, and listening to her stories must have been incredible. It was as if... Well, you know. And, of all things good in the world, I wish it on you—a good piece of writing. Thanks for sharing. Regards.
