Hi, Mona. I like your article about Zelda. Indeed, a dog is your best friend that give uncondtional love and comfort for just showing it love. Once on a paperroute I had when I was 8, a stray dog walked up and came to sit in the wagon I carried the papers. I took him home, fed him some milk and placed a box in a dry place with some blanket. He crawled in as if it always belonged to him. Mom began feeding him scraps, then gave him a bath, and finally, Beanie moved with us and had a run of the place. The dog lived to seem me graduate college, serve in the Army, get married, and be there for the birth of my two children. My mother loved her, and when Beanie finally left, she cried for days. I sat at the kitchen table with mom as she cried. It taught me a lesson that all creatures, great and small have something to teach us. Regards
