Your narrative made me think of my days on the battlefields of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. My team ran, crawled, and slithered in the performance of our missions. To be honest, we were usually pursued by the enemy, narrowly escaping inevitable tragedy. Boy! We could run, hike, and climb, but mostly we ran.
