Hi. Robert. I liked your essay why nutty relationships work, or don't work. A great piece of information placed into something I could not have imagined. Mind you, talking to one's dog is not as bad as talking to the universe. Neither answered me with anything intelligible. But then, I'm accused of not ever responding with an intelligent answer. When I mentioned to the VA psychiatrist that I often speak to my dead combat buddies, he mentioned that it's quite normal to speak to the dead. It's when they respond that we need to up the medication. So, being the clever nutcase that I am, I never told him of the many conversation that took place. As for dogs, I do not think there is a more loyal friend on the planet. Never owned one, but it was my intention. Life got in the way, and PTSD was a whole other person to deal with who did answer me. Thanks for sharing your writing talent. Regards
