Hi, Simon. I liked your article about fear and bravery. As a Vietnam veteran who ran Special Ops missions I can attest to the anxiety that faced me every day. The mornings began with expecting yet another existential threat. My job was to accomplish the assigned tasks and keep my brothers alive and uninjured. No easy matter matter when everything and everyone was out to kill us. It got to a point where I forgot the taste of my mother's cooking, the people I once loved, and my former life. Then one day, I looked up and saw the new day dawning in magnificent colors. It was but a brief moment before the plunge, but of all the things I forgot, I remember this incident. Regards
