Hi, Susan. Yes, the soldier's curse is the anxiety brought to parents and loved ones. Nevertheless, I consider your dad a hero. I honor his life and his service to our country. Korea was an ugly war. Freezing in winter and boiling in summer. The North Koreans were a relentless enemy and well armed. I am glad yout dad not only returned home but was covered in the love and care of his family.
