Hi. Your blistering attack of the book speaks in anger. But the characters and the place is imaginary. It only exists in the author's head. But you feel ignored if not downright insulted that the minority members in our society were not included in the narrative. Of course, besides those characters, there are the homeless, single mothers with children, people from the prison system, the bi-polars, schizophrenics, and some with bad hair days. I am unsure if you have a point, but you do make a point. Why shouldn't all the characters be gay, trans, Black, brown, or yellow? After all everything used to be white and heterosexual. If nothing else, including everyone in society into a story is only describing the way the world truly is organized. But then, the writer has the right to express the saga the way it appears in their head. I prefer to look at story in the form of literature. It MUST be well written with a story that makes sense, including character development, displaying love, hate, rejection, depression, anger, and of course violence, and all those feelings that eventually come to all of us. Just saying. Regards
