When I set out to write Vietnam Uncensored — 365 Days in a Nightmare, a horror story was never my intention. Yet, every step we took in that forsaken land seemed to bring us face-to-face with the horrible, absurd, the bizarre, and the impossible.

I had no desire to recount the sight of shattered bodies left in the wake of modern warfare. But then came the revolting truths we uncovered in the jungle — the mind-numbing inhumanity surrounding us. Brutality, bestiality, and cruelty clung to the land like a sickness; we could not escape their grasp.

There were moments when I wondered who could judge or even forgive, the sins we carried from our duty. But it didn’t take a genius to realize we were damned. None of it made sense, and our actions deepened our moral abyss. And yet, through it all, we lived the staggering lies of our government and the monstrous horrors, the depravity, and the countless deaths it spawned.

The truth I experienced in Vietnam is awaiting you on the pages of my story.

Amazon reviews say Vietnam Uncensored — 365 Days in a Nightmare is a must-read. All proceeds go to the Kaufman Fund, helping veterans. Stand with us and get book, help others to understand what happened to us, and support the cause. You’ll be glad you did.
