My country after I returned from war

I will have to admit the Vietnam war irrevocably changed my buddies and me. There was no going back.

Yet, I am not sorry for serving my country, and I remain an honored patriot. I love the U.S.A. and everything and everyone in its borders.

We are complicated and strange people, but we are a fantastic bunch.
