That may be the question you posed, but prologued the article with a diatribe indicating the rest of the world disparaged self determination of the African continent by its avarice and conquests. If you would have just put out the question requesting opinions would represent a way to find what others thought. But if you ask the question and then pose a one-sided opinion, then it changes the dimension of the argument. It is only fair to note the negative aspects of the world against the negative aspects of the African continent. Neither civilization was perfect, and to propose it as so, is misleading and detracts from the academics your position.

Nevertheless, I enjoyed your polemic and the ensuing conversation. Best regards.
