THAT WHICH DOES NOT FADE

In a recent panel discussion about my experiences in the Vietnam war, questions directed at me told that my narratives seemed to make superheroes of those men and women with whom I served.

There was only one response I could give: Not only were all my brothers and sisters on the field of combat heroes, but they all deserved medals for exemplary courage.
