This Vietnam Veteran served in NAM 1967-1968 as leader of a Special Ops group of men who were originally drafted into the service of their country. We never comes gained of our service, the politics or the peaceniks demonstrating against the war back in the states.
We did our dirt and even wounded we refused to leave the team because, as you know, bonds forged between brothers on the battlefield is stronger than forged steel. We were tied by bonds that demanded we ensure the safety of the team.
I found your analogy to Vietnam pertinent and timely. I appreciate your sharing your combat experiences and points if view. Thank you.
