UNBROKEN IN VIETNAM: THE UNTOLD STORIES OF THE FORGOTTEN HEROES

I consider every brother and sister who served in Vietnam to be a hero, and a patriot. Not all of us faced combat. Some of us worked in administration. But no matter where we served, Vietnam was a country at war, and the U.S. backed one side.

Some entered eternity in rocket attacks, plane crashes, or from poisons. I understand the pain of those who bore the worst of it, but let’s not forget, Vietnam was a war nobody wanted. The draftees certainly didn’t.

For those of us in the field, we didn’t complain much. We just did our job, no matter the misery. Quitting wasn’t an option. Combat wasn’t meant to be easy. But we made the impossible happen, even if it meant sweating blood. But the harder it got, the less care we got from the people who sent us there.

Washington saw us as tools to exercise foreign policy, nothing more. It was the truth that kept the war going for years, killing over 58,000 and ruining 150,000 more. The Pentagon Papers confirm this, too.

I invite you to read about the missions we survived, the death sentences we carried out under orders. It’s a hard read, but it’s the truth. Read about what we did, what we fought for.

Reviews say “Vietnam Uncensored — 365 Days in a Nightmare” is a must-read. All proceeds go to the Kaufman Fund, helping veterans. Get the book at Amazon, support the cause. You’ll be glad you did.
