“VIETNAM UNCENSORED” — STORIES FROM A VETERAN WHO LIVED IT
Insights into “Vietnam Uncensored”
Veteran’s Day, November 11, is close. Three days away. There’s nothing more real in this country than the veterans who answered the call and lived with the cost.
We stand proud of our service and know the good things America offers. We remember the Vietnam War with much bitterness, but I can tell you this: we met some who treated us with respect. We met those who honored us. There was more good than bad, even when the world didn’t understand.
But more than anything, we knew the families of the fallen and the wounded needed us. They required our understanding. Our love. Our support. When we took off the uniform, we became invisible. But we had pledged our lives. We had stepped forward for a cause bigger than ourselves. We carried that with us, even when we remained unseen.
Vietnam was a country, a place at the edge of the China Sea, where more than 58,000 of my brothers fell. It was a gateway to eternity for them. The numbers, the politics, the history don’t matter in the end. What matters is this: we served. We served America with honor. We stood by our oaths, by our brothers, and by our country. And we were America’s best.
“Vietnam Uncensored” launches this Monday, November 11. We’re offering the memoir at half price for the launch. Every cent we make goes to the Kaufman Fund, helping veterans in need. You can read more at Vietnam Jerry’s site — https://vietnamjerry.com.
You’ll get a reasonable price and a gripping story and be part of something that matters. Stand with those who crossed the line for their country. Stand with us this Veteran’s Day.
